Erik is a physicist and entrepreneur with advanced degrees in electrical engineering and mathematics who has spent 25+ years building bioelectric recording, control, and stimulation systems, securing multiple patents, contributing to multiple successful exits, and leading work across NIST ATP, NIH, and DARPA programs. As CEO, he sets the company's strategic direction and aligns its science, technology, and commercial roadmap around a single goal, making FDA-cleared bioelectric therapy broadly accessible. He brings the rare combination of deep technical fluency and the disciplined execution and capital formation needed to build Electrome into a leader in bioelectric medicine.

Dr. Nev Zubcevik is a board-certified physician and former Harvard Medical School faculty member and Medical Director at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, with deep expertise in musculoskeletal medicine, traumatic brain injury, concussion, and non-pharmacologic pain management. She is also a prolific inventor and researcher whose work spans bioelectric signaling, regenerative medicine, and chronic Lyme disease, including the LymeCure research collaboration with Tulane University, alongside peer-reviewed research on non-opioid recovery. At Electrome she directs clinical strategy, evidence generation, and the integration of bioelectric therapy into mainstream care pathways.

Danny Rubenstein is a commercial operator and strategic advisor with 40+ years across consumer products, food, and emerging businesses. He has held CEO, COO, and CFO roles, was an original partner in Naked Juice and has served as member of operating leadership teams with several startup and early stage companies. Danny applies a regenerative, whole systems approach, advising founders and leadership teams on strategy, growth and developing organizational capacity. At Electrome he leads commercialization strategy, channel development, and revenue execution.

Shari O'Connor, PharmD, MBA

Shari O'Connor, PharmD, MBA

Scientific Advisor, Clinical Marketing & Sales Development

Shari O'Connor is a neuroimmunology expert with 30+ years advancing brain and immune-system therapies, with board-level credentials in Neurology, Immunology, Nutrition, and Pharmacogenomics. Her published research spans encephalopathy, brain trauma, and immune-mediated neurological disease, and she has advised programs translating neuroscience research into pharmacy practice and clinical care. At Electrome she leads clinical marketing and sales development, translating the evidence base into the form clinicians, channel partners, and payer audiences evaluate and buy on. In a category where adoption is won on clinical credibility rather than promotion, her scientific standing is itself the commercial asset.

Dr. Samir S. Awad is Chief of Surgery and Operative Care Line Executive at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, and Professor of Surgery and Vice-Chair for Surgical Quality and Safety at Baylor College of Medicine. A bioengineering graduate of Penn with surgical critical-care training at Michigan, he leads investigator-initiated clinical research across pain, wound healing, edema, and bioelectric therapeutics. At Electrome he serves as Medical Director, guiding FDA strategy and clinical evidence generation across the platform.

Licensing Advisor

Wanni Davis is a biotech strategist with 15+ years spanning translational science, venture development, and commercialization. As former Director of Industry Partnerships at Harvard-affiliated hospitals, she built and negotiated the industry alliances that move academic science out of the lab and into commercial development. At Electrome she serves as Licensing Advisor, leading partnerships, business development, and alliance operations across life sciences and biopharma, including partner agreements and the licensing pathway around Electrome's patent-pending portfolio.
